Register for Self Study
CCR&Rs ready to begin the NACCRRA Quality Assurance process start by submitting a NQA Self Study Enrollment Form ( 78.56 KB ). This form may be submitted at anytime. The $600 fee for Self Study must accompany the registration form. Upon receipt, NACCRRA will provide the CCR&R with the Self-Assessment Guide and Scoring Sheet, access to resources on Best Practices for CCR&Rs and schedule the CCR&R for access to online, recorded trainings. The Self Study phase is a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 18 months.

Apply for Quality Assurance
Once the agency has completed the training and developed a work plan, a CCR&R may apply for the Submission Phase by submitting the NQA Application ( 80.01 KB ). This form may be submitted at any time after the CCR&R completes the pre-requisite Self Study. The $1,000 application fee, the CCR&R’s organizational and staffing charts and the completed NQA Work Plan must accompany the application form. The application fee will be credited to the CCR&R’s fee for Core Competencies.

Upon receipt, NACCRRA will contact the agency to provide a start date and discuss a payment schedule for the remainder of the fee. All CCR&Rs which apply will have a start date that begins on one of the following dates: January 1, April 1, July 1, or October 1. The CCR&R will be assigned the start date that is closest to the date of receipt of the application. The agency will have 24 months from the start date to complete their submission for NACCRRA Quality Assurance.

Costs and Incentives

NACCRRA has made every effort to keep the costs to operate NACCRRA Quality Assurance to a minimum, but costs to administer a program of this caliber and magnitude are considerable. These costs must be passed on to applicants in the form of fees.

Please note that the registration fee for Self Study and the Application fee are nonrefundable.

The cost for CCR&Rs to become validated under NACCRRA Quality Assurance will vary considerably, depending on the number of service areas offered by a particular agency. A CCR&R applying on its own will pay up a minimum of $6,750 if it offers services to only one consumer group. The maximum fee for NACCRRA Quality Assurance for a CCR&R offering services in three of the service areas is $9,950.

Incentive Discount

To help offset the cost of NACCRRA Quality Assurance to local CCR&Rs, NACCRRA has developed a discount for all CCR&Rs in one state that apply through an eligible State Network. To qualify for the discount, the State Network must agree to coordinate the Submission process for the CCR&Rs in the state. Costs are reduced for CCR&Rs because State Network staff provide support to the NQA review process.

Payment Schedule

NACCRRA has made every effort to accommodate the financial situations of local CCR&Rs and will work with CCR&Rs to ensure that NACCRRA Quality Assurance can be a reality for all. Once the nonrefundable fees are paid and the CCR&R enters into the Submission Phase, NACCRRA will invoice quarterly for the remainder of fees over the 24-month Submission Phase. This will allow a CCR&R to pay the full costs of NACCRRA Quality Assurance over a 2- or 3-year fiscal period.
